    I have moved back to Henderson Nevada, for those of you who were clients in Utah or for those of you who are looking for a new stylist or extensionist in Utah, I am referring all my clients to Floralynn she is the owner of Katumba's Salon located in Orem, Utah. Spring means its time to update your Color:
   Well it is the beginning of spring here in Nevada our weather has been already up in the 70's. While your pulling out your capri's, shorts, and spring colored clothing, remember that it is time to update your hair also. Just as you switch to lighter brighter cloths for the spring you should also lighten up your hair. Spring is a great time to add carmel highlights to dark hair and multi-tonal blonds for light hair. Check out the specials at the bottom of this page.

Q- I have long straight hair and it is always limp. How can I add some volume without cutting layers into it?

A- You should be using a volumizing shampoo and conditioner, I recommend Big Sexy Big Volume shampoo and conditioner. You can also use Big Sexy Blow Dry Volumizing Gel, apply a small amount to your damp hair and then section your hair and blow it out on a large round brush.  Finish it off by turning your head upside down and spraying the roots with hair spray then flip head forward and tousle with your fingers.

 

Q- I want to get hair extensions but I dont want to have them glued into my hair what other options do I have?

A- Besides glue I also do a micro-bead method its where your hair is threaded through a tiny copper bead and then a small pre-glued section of extensions are slipped inside and then clamped shut. This method is the method I most often use. You can also opt to wear clip in extensions and I can order those for you.
